Teambuilding Modo Hockey

The teambuilding-days for Modo Hockey's team were full of challenges for the players. The mission took place in the High Coast-area and started at the foot of Skuleberget with climbing. The players carried on with biking, inlines, trekking, swimming and diving. It all ended with jumping from the cliff island "Skrubban" in the archipelago. The highest jump was 15 meters high.

Magasin Höga Kusten

Höga Kusten - Land Sea & Phenomena, a photo book about one of the worlds most unique coastal regions and world heritage. 200 pages of beatiful sceneries, short text passages of legends and myths, and references to places where all the photos are taken.
In the magazine Mikael has been writing about the best places for trailrunning in the High Coast area. And both Helena and Mikael is in the article of a biking reportage from the area written by Dan-Marcus Pethrus and photos taken by Peder Sundström.

Fenix - International key account meeting

The day after Fjällräven left, the Fenix outdoor came with 54 persons for their international key account meeting. So they got three days full activites with a lot of High Coast feeling. Grisslan, Trysunda and a trekking through Slottdalsskrevan with a overnight camping was some of the "High Coast pearls" they were shown.

Participating in local Iceshow

During the weekend ÖKK (the local figureskate club) had their yearly fantastic iceshow. The theme for this year was "The World of Astrid Lindgren" and  “stars on ice” and the club presented one outstanding performance after another. The big honour got Helena and Mikael who was invited as “local stars” to take part in the iceshow, and had got to practice for one week before the show.

Commercial movie

Last week Mikael and Helena participated in a new film project that will be a 10 minutes commercial movie about Örnsköldsvik. A full week of biking, running, paddling and ropeworks.

The other in the commercial is hockeyplayer Niclas Sundström (NY Rangers/ Modo) and former biathlonchampion Anders Mannelqvist.

The Monster delivered

1060 km long, one of the longest adventure races in history, with the start in the coastal city of Sundsvall with a great journey through the middle of Sweden with a route through the mountains at the Norwegian border and back again.
Some fantastic areas of Sweden were explored like Sundsvall, Ånge/Ljungandalen, Helags, Sylarna, Åre, Sollefteå/Ådalen and Indalsälven.

The race worked with the best photographers in the business: Peder Sundström, Wouter Kingma, Krister Göransson and Magnus Stenman.
